Welcome

Watch local democracy in action

We're committed to making democratic processes at Leeds City Council as open and transparent as possible and that means making it easier for our residents to see how decisions that affect local people and communities are made.

Every full Council meeting and the publicly accessible parts of Executive Board meetings are now streamed live and can be seen by clicking on the links on this page. Click on the link and the stream will begin.

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a live broadcast of an event shown over the internet that can be viewed on computers, tablets and smartphones.

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can do so via the archive.  All meetings will be archived afterwards and available to be viewed for the following six months in the Webcast library. To view a webcast, simply click on the title of the meeting you wish to watch.

Look at our Help page to find out more information about webcasting, how it works, and what you need to enjoy the service.
